Exhaustion is one of the hardest parts of having children. It's not only the physical demand but also the mental load. When you're beyond tired, all of your best intentions can go out the window! Patience is short, children find buttons to push you didn't even know you had and it can really affect your own well-being. An overnight stay means I come and stay in your home and take over! This means you go to bed and enjoy a full nights rest. Whether it's to avoid the much dreaded 5am start or so you can go straight back to bed after breastfeeding, you'll feel a whole lot better with a bit of sleep under your belt. For younger babies, this means Mum is only woken for feeds, while I then take care of resettling. For babies who take bottles, it can mean an uninterrupted night’s sleep for Mum and Dad.
If you're needing support to encourage your child to sleep better at night, this is also a great way. I will support them through connected resettling, and use my experience and knowledge to support them to feel safe and secure. For more intense night time sleep concerns, check out the Day and Night Package which may be more suited.
For new clients, an initial meet-and-greet is arranged before the overnight stay to ensure everyone feels comfortable.
An overnight stay is from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
Welcoming someone new into your home overnight can feel like a big step, but I promise to care for your baby with calmness, confidence and patience. Most of the time there are minimal tears! Parents are often surprised by how well their child responds. My approach is based on age, stage and temperament and we will always agree on the strategy during our first conversation.
